Nokia, once an undisputed market leader, made big announcements at Mobile World Congress 2017 (MWC) in Barcelona and left its fans waiting for the Nokia 6, Nokia 5, and Nokia 3 apart from the much-celebrated Nokia 3310. However, according to new rumours, Nokia is likely to release a flagship smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC as early as June. The new Nokia flagship is expected to come in two sizes.
According to a report, the upcoming Nokia-branded flagship smartphone will sport a full-metal body, and it will be powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor. Also, two variants of Nokia flagship smartphone will be launched on the market, with a ‘small’ and ‘big’ display in tow.
Two versions based on either 4GB or 6GB RAM are also expected.
Rumour mills are abuzz that the Nokia flagship is likely to feature a dual-camera setup that will feature neither Carl Zeiss nor PureView technology and that the primary camera will feature a 23-megapixel sensor.
It is still not clear whether it will come with a dual-lens setup.
The smaller version of the Nokia flagship is likely to cost around 4000 yuan (roughly Rs 38,600) and 4500 yuan (roughly Rs 43,500).
